To end a call
Press the TALK button.
Or
Replace the handset on the
base unit.
To receive a call
When the phone rings:
The handset display will show
EXTERNAL CALL
or if you have
subscribed to a Caller Display
Service it will show your caller’s
telephone number or name if
you have stored it in your
directory (unless the number
has been withheld or is an
international number).
If your handset is on the base
unit, simply pick it up to answer
the call.
Or
If your handset is off the base
unit, press the TALK button.
Call timer
Your handset will automatically time
the duration of all external calls. The
handset display shows the call duration
both during your call and for a few
seconds after it is completed.
Note
An Inductive Coupler has been built
into the handset to improve sound
quality for people using hearing aids.
Switch your hearing aid to T and
adjust the position of the handset until
you get the best reception.
If you have entered the
number correctly, press the
TALK button to dial the
number. The display will show
Calling
.
