Transferring calls
You can transfer calls between
handsets that are registered to
the base unit.
During your call:
Press the TRAN options button.
Your external caller will be put
on hold and will hear music.
The display will show
Transfer To Handset
with the
cursor flashing for you to enter
a handset number.
Enter the handset number that
you want to transfer the call to.
The called handset will ring
and the display will show
Transferring Call
.
(If you decide to cancel the
call transfer, press the CLEAR
button).
The ringing handset user
should press the TALK button
to speak to the caller.
If the call is not answered
within 20 seconds the original
handset will ring.
If after a further 30 seconds
the call is not taken then the
caller will be disconnected.
